Dismissal of employees
We advise employers on the method of termination of the employment contract, indicating the possibility of and grounds for parting by mutual agreement, by notice or with immediate effect.
Under this area of practice, we:
- consult the reasons for parting with the employee to find the proper termination method;
- formulate the reason for termination or disciplinary dismissal to secure the interest of the employer in case of a potential lawsuit;
- draft the relevant documents related to parting with the employee, also under alternative, most frequently used scenarios;
- advise on formal requirements, including consultations with the trade union; if necessary, we participate in meetings with employees, supporting the employer also at this last stage of parting;
- make an analysis of potential risks related to the employee’s appeal against the termination of the employment contract to the labour court.
