Michał
Szuszczyński
partner / Counsellor at Law
I specialise in individual and collective labour law. My professional interests in particular include the issues of employing and dismissing employees (including collective redundancies), with a special focus on the specificity of employing managerial staff and board members. I also provide employers with advice on working time and relations between the employer and representatives of employees (trade unions and work councils) and support them in properly handling these relations, introducing internal documents (regulations, collective agreements or social packages) and resolving labour disputes. I represent Clients before labour courts of all instances and the Supreme Court.
I am a labour law expert of the “Lewiatan” Wielkopolska Employers Association, a member of the Lewiatan Confederation of Employers.
I gained my experience in labour law during 10 years of professional practice in one of the leading law firms in the Wielkopolska region where I managed the works of the Labour Law Department and, next, a few years of work in my own boutique labour law firm, first of its kind in Poznań.
I am an author of press publications and have made television and radio appearances on labour law issues. I conduct training and seminars on labour law and I am a permanent lecturer at the Poznań WSB University and the Accountants Association in Poland.
I am a law graduate from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and I also completed a post-graduate course on labour law at the same University. I am a member of the Regional Chamber of Counsellors at Law in Poznań.
